Snow Geese
Snow Geese migrate from the southern end of the North American Continent, to the far norther reaches of Alaska, Canada, and Greenland. They spend their winters in Mexico and other southern states of the Continental US, and head back to their breeding grounds in the far North country for the summers. These geese were in the Skagit valley of Washington heading back up north when I came across them this past March.
